Overpressure Testing
Overpressure Testing
Overpressure testing is used to determine if a product can withstand a high pressure environment or withstand rapid pressure changes. The opposite of altitude testing in which pressure is removed during the test process, overpressure testing applies additional pressure to the equipment under test.
These tests are useful, in particular in the field of aeronautics for articles which are installed in partially pressurized environments.
